This summer we took the opportunity to go hot air ballooning over the canyons near Moab UT. Lou Bartel, owner of and pilot for Canyonlands Ballooning, and his crew were great and it was a wonderful experience. Lou was kind enough to invite me to ride along in the chase vehicle on a subsequent flight which gave me the opportunity to get some shots of the balloon from the ground.
